Dr. Binu Bhadauria, Founder and Managing Director of Ojas Animal Feeds Pvt. Ltd., has spent much of her life working closely with animals and farming communities. As a veterinary professional, she gained firsthand experience of the challenges faced by livestock owners and the importance of proper nutrition in supporting animal health and well-being.
During her years of service, Dr. Bhadauria observed the growing need for greater awareness around feed quality and responsible feeding practices. She also witnessed the difficulties faced by many livestock animals that were abandoned after becoming unproductive, leaving them vulnerable to road accidents, poor living conditions, and other risks.
These experiences inspired her to take a different path.
Driven by a desire to create a meaningful and lasting impact, Dr. Binu Bhadauria took Voluntary Retirement (VRS) from government service and established Ojas Animal Feeds with a clear mission — to promote quality animal nutrition and support healthier livestock through scientifically formulated, urea-free and animal-origin-protein-free feed solutions.
Established in 2019 and later incorporated as Ojas Animal Feeds Private Limited, the company has grown into a Startup India recognised and MSME registered enterprise serving livestock farmers, dairy units, government institutions, universities, NGOs, and animal shelters across Uttarakhand and neighbouring states.
Today, under Dr. Bhadauria’s leadership, Ojas Animal Feeds provides nutrition solutions for multiple livestock species, including cattle, horses, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, and customized feed requirements.
